Pamela Mir
Board Certified & Licensed Physician
As an avid outdoorswoman and a dedicated physician, I enjoy helping others be active in the outdoors in a healthy fashion.
I have always been interested in the outdoors and spent much of my childhood camping, fishing, cooking over fires, and building shelters with my siblings. I was also very active in sports excelling in gymnastics at the elite level and into college. Later in life I became very active in
many different outdoor recreational activities both alone and in groups. I found my blend of recreational skills and medical knowledge were helpful to others in my group.
I have advanced training and experience in fishing, hiking, mountain biking, motorcycle trail riding, skiing, and backpacking/camping. I have firsthand knowledge of the challenging environments all of these can bring.
I have extensive experience and education in both adult and pediatric medicine, kinesiology, and health education. This gives me a broad based knowledge in general acute medicine for the treatment of illness as well as injury prevention and rehabilitation, sports medicine, and
counseling on longevity medicine and healthspan.
I am involved in ski patrol and acting as medical consultant for several local organizations. I write articles for several local outdoor chapters.
I am looking to helping others continue to be active in the outdoors in a healthy fashion.
